Design is coming to grips with one’s real lifestyle, one’s real place in the world. Rooms should not be put together for show but to nourish one’s well-being.

The Idea

Our unique perspective on decoration effortlessly mixes the modern with the classical, while always retaining an eye for beauty, quality and simplicity.

Creating a marriage of an informal, progressive atmosphere with high style and European influences, Jon Howell offers a unique experience. This experience is heightened by an unparalleled dedication to service to meet our clients's needs now and in the future.

Style & Quality

Our awareness of the importance of an historic sense of style and design, as it intersects with the present and future, allows us to create a style for now and for the ages.

You will find top quality materials - fine mahogany and rosewood, polished nickel and patinated bronze, fine silk and linen, tactile ceramics and glass - as utilised by important designers and artists, both the under-appreciated and the well-known.

Background

It is over 20 years of experience in the antiques and art business that led to Jon Howell's eminent position in the industry.

In 2006, after a myriad of positions - as an auction house specialist in 20th century decoration, as the manager and director of one of the foremost art deco galleries in New York, and as an appraiser in fine and decorative arts - Jon Howell opened his own gallery and firmly established himself as a knowledgeable and worthy source for interior decoration.
