Pair of two-armed, enameled, figural cold painted bronze sconces, by Bagues, French, 1920's. Original glass candles, and with custom silk shades. Height 23 in, width 12 in, depth 7 in. Shades measure top diameter 4 in, bottom diameter 5 in, height 7 in. (Item #3119)

 

From the Chinqua Penn Plantation, the home of Thomas Jefferson Penn ("Jeff", 1875–1946) and Margaret Beatrice Shoellkopf Penn, world travelers and collectors. Their home was furnished from their travels in the early part of the 20th century. The contents of the estate were dispersed in 2012.
